Chassis SB2751, William Nicholson's everyday car in the 1950s & 60s

"I met Mr William Nicholson in the late 1970s or early 1980s. He had owned chassis SB2751 since about 1954. It was in wonderful original condition, and had been his everyday car. It had not been on the road for a few years as his wife found it too heavy to drive (so he bought a 1950s Rolls-Royce Wraith)."

"I was saddened to read that the car was rebodied as a tourer in the 1990s but there was little demand for saloons at that time. I understand that the body may still exist, so there is a chance that it will be reunited with its chassis one day.

At the time I met Mr Nicholson, he also owned PL3497 a 4.5 tourer and other cars, all housed in a glass fronted semi circular garage." See both his Bentleys in the video below.
