The Bentley owned by a Dr Davies in Australia in the late 1920s
Contributed by Kenneth Sandiford

"My father emigrated with his mother and sister to Australia in 1926. The ship called at Fremantle in November of that year. He returned to England in 1930. Whilst he was in Australia he was employed at some time as a chauffeur for a Dr. Davies, who lived in Sydney. The car he drove was a Bentley. I am led to believe it was the first imported into Australia. Below is a photograph of the car. The registration plate is NSW 168-468. I understand that Dr. Davies' son was later killed in the same car. Some of this information has come to me from my brother-in-law. I would like to confirm the truth of the story. If you cannot help me directly, could you possibly point me in the right direction."

Contributor Kenneth Sandiford sent us this photo in 2007. Please help to identify this Bentley.
