Famed Bentley from The Avengers bought by Huddersfield businessman in 1969

According to the article from the "The Huddersfield Examiner" from 27th June 1969, the owner of the car was a local businessman from Huddersfield."

A star on both sides of the Atlantic, Bentley UW 4887 is now the property of a local businessman. The brolly and bowler of our elegant model for the day, Jenny Newby, are the clues, for this is the car which graces television's "Avengers", and is driven by the unflappable John Steed. This vast and beautiful car, in immaculate British racing green, is in perfect running order -- but driving it on our crowded roads is quite a daunting prospect.
