Chassis No. FB3315 — From £100 in 1957 to £67,500 in the late 80s!

Contributed by Brian Watts (Former owner)

"I bought this car privately in Coventry, shortly after my demob from national service, in about 1957 as a non-runner for £100. After some investigation it fired up having sorted the timing. It was enjoyed and seen by many in the Warwickshire area trouble free for some two years until the skew gears in the turret 'crossed swords' in quite an expensive mess. As this was my only form of transport I sold it -- again as a non-runner -- for £100."

"Stanley Mann Racing Ad below: The car having had a face-lift; no running boards & replaced with cycle type wings, a modified hood arrangement & a louvre bonnet. The asking price (from memory) - £67,500 this would be around 1986."
