Baby Simon takes a ride in Bentley chassis BL1616

"Here is a pic of my mother driving Chassis BL1616 the car, circa 1975. That's me in the passenger seat aged 2 or 3! My father owned the car I think from the late 1950s until 1980. During that time he raced the car in Gras Hill Climbs and rebuilt the engine and re-jigged the (fairly horrible) home-made body. He also rebuilt the engine some time in the late 1960s.
Would be interested to know why the reg number changed (from the original FL 6060)."
