This information has been taken from the car. The car is parked in the garage awaiting restoration by myself."
"Just been doing some more digging into the components with the BDC.
The gearbox 6341 is a 'C type' box originally in chassis WT2262 which was
a 6.5 litre Bentley registration XV6011 from November 1928."

This is what we at VintageBentleys.org have been able to gather after extensive correspondence with Roger Morton.:
ABOUT ENGINE TN1558 THAT IS IN CHASSIS 415 NOW
- At some point when the Morton family owned Chassis No. TN1555, it had original Engine No. TN1558 and original Registration No. TS 6223.
- Michael Hay's Bentley: The Vintage Years notes that in 1997 (the year the book was published) Chassis TN1555 had Engine No. PM3257 ex ch. PM3257 (Chassis PM3257 was also owned by the Morton family. If Chassis TN1555 had Engine PM3257, where was its original Engine TN1558 during this period?)
- Now in 2016, Chassis TN1555's original Engine TN1558 along with original Registration TS 6223 is in Chassis 415.
ABOUT CHASSIS 415's ORIGINAL REG. NO. XR 1611
- It is not known what happened to Chassis 415's original Registraion XR 1611. There are old photos of Sammy Davis driving this car with XR 1611 showing on the reg plate (scroll below to view).
ABOUT CHASSIS TN1555 THAT ORIGINALLY HAD ENGINE TN1558 & REG TS 6223
- Roger Morton writes, "The chassis
is now number 415 as the original
(TN1555) was damaged. It (Reg TS 6223) has an H M body and
still has original registration TS
