size 4566cc (that's an R-Type isn't
it) driven by Dr. Brian Hamilton.
DVLA lists it as 1926, first registered

car that was built in the 1990s in
the UK and claimed to be chassis 849
reg NL8498. When the genuine 849 emerged
from storage in a barn after 40 years,
this car acquired this age related
plate via the BDC" — (Name

"Dr.
Brian Hamilton, may still live in Bedford
in England. His association with Bentleys
goes back a long way, maybe as far back
as 1960/1970. I think he had a 9 foot
or 9.5 foot chasiss car and ran it for
many years. This had a racing type of
body, I seem to recall it having a No
7 on it and think it had a racing history.
The picture shown of BF5575, maybe of
one of the many cars built to look like
proper Bentleys, but using post-war
engines and transmissions. It might
be possible for the Bugatti Owners Club
to put you in touch with Dr. Hamilton."
