I have flipped the
photo below (as I think the photo
has been reversed erroneously at some
point).
I have placed it next to Claire Hay's
photo of RN3050 (see above) when fitted
with the body from FA2513. They are
obviously identical (except for the
location).
Text below Michael (Clare) Hay's
RN3050 photo reads: "More
Bodysnatching! When the Maharajah
of Bhavnager had his 6½ Litre,
Chassis No. FA 2513, rebodied by Barkers'
in 1938 to the form shown on page
71 of Johnnie Green's 'Fifty Years
of the Marque,' the original Barker
boat-tail was bought by Coopers who
modified it suitably and fitted it
to this 4½ Litre, Chassis No.
RN 3050, registered UC 2801."

This is when it had the Barker boattail
from FA2513 (The Maharajah of Bhavnagar's
6½ litre fitted by Coopers
in 1938). See Hay or confirm from
Peter Hageman (who reunited the body
with FA2513). They will also confirm.
Photo on page 105 of Bentley: The
Vintage Years by Hay. Same body,
same mudguards, same toolbox, same
everything..."
