1928 4.5 litre Bentley
"All matching, with its own "D" type gearbox and recently fitted new crank and rods. Replica Vanden Plas 4-seater Sports Tourer in beautiful condition.

All-matching 1928 4.5 litre Sports Tourer. This handsome car, Chassis PM 3259, Engine PM 3258, was in one family ownership from 1977 to 2013, during which time it was fitted with a very high quality replica Vanden Plas Sports Tourer body by James Pearce. Its original coachwork, a four-seater Tourer by Harrison, was removed from the car many decades ago.

Very recently, the engine has been substantially rebuilt by VBE Restorations, including the fitting of new crank and rods. The cosmetics are in excellent condition.

Bentleys of this high quality and high essential pedigree are now very difficult to find and we are confident that this particular car will give any future owner a great deal of pleasure and satisfaction."

Price: £550,000

This car is for sale as of May 22, 2014.
