"You may be interested in this photograph I've come across that I took at the Richard Seaman Memorial Trophy meeting at Oulton Park on June 1982. It's Tim Llewellyn approaching Lodge Corner in the Seaman Vintage Trophy race in his 1926/30 Bentley 3/8, apparently chassis LM1338."

  More Info: According to original Vanden Plas Coachbuilder records, this car was originally fitted with Body No. 1298 with a standard Sporting 4-seater; scratched aluminium / maroon; 7/1926.

Michael Hay, in his book Bentley: The Vintage Years, 1997, states: "Vanden Plas body no. 1298. Harrison saloon then Morris lsis coupe now 2 seater. Competition car on 9'1" WB - 6½ Litre engine WK 2656 ex ch. WK 2664 now 8 Litre engine based on block ex ch. YR 5081. Much modified - had de Dion rear end."
