On May 27, 2008 the Stanley Mann Racing website states, ...

"1925 Bentley 3/8 Litre Record Breaker
Registration Number: YF 3752 Chassis Number: 1157 Engine Number: HM 2865

In 1988/89 this vintage Bentley held six UK speed records taken at Millbrook in Bedfordshire driven by yours truly.

As you can see on the pics of the scrutineer labels tell how much I used her as also did the last owner.

She is as happy on a racetrack or on the highway.

Easy to drive, light to steer, and with brilliant performance.

If you want to know more come in and see her.

Brown trousers not needed but only for those who know how to live at full throttle."

At Millbrook Proving Ground, Bedfordshire. England (Brookland)

At one point during the race the car reportedly took off, about 20 feet above the ground, at which point no wheels were in contact with the ground, as confirmed by the driver, Stanley Mann. The time record was revised likewise, from 154 mph (as initially recorded by Robert Ford - official UK timekeeper) to 148 mph.
