	In a long single-family ownership for about 40 years prior to present ownership, the car has recently undergone a complete engine and gearbox rebuild with new counter balanced crank and rods by serious marque specialist, Tim Abbott. Has all the usual goodies - "A" gearbox, Sloper Carbs, and a particularly nice set of correct instruments.

More Info: According to original Vanden Plas Coachbuilder records, this car was originally fitted with Body No. 1043 with a short chassis standard Sporting 4-seater; black / red inside wings; 5/1924.

Michael Hay, in his book Bentley: The Vintage Years, 1997, states: "Vanden Plas body no. 1043. Eng HP 397 fitted 1969 - 610 subsequently re-fitted."
