1924 Bentley 3/4½ Litre
Chassis No. 487
Engine No. 486 / ST 3007
Registration No. XR 3400

December 2008
For sale by Stanley Mann Racing

Chassis no. 487 is up for sale as of Dec 2008 on the Stanley Mann Racing website.

Stanley Mann says: "This Bentley is the most desirable spec for the old Bentley boys among us (my self included)... The recipe was; find a 3 litre — preferably with short chassis, pour in a heap of real 4½ litre engine and then fit Le Mans style coachwork with Le Mans spec and Le Mans tank and then you have served up the best vintage Bentley cocktail ever... Mind you, as this case, fortunes have been spent recently and it all shows and works well."

This car was for sale at Stanley Mann Racing in Oct 2006 as well, when the price quoted was £185,000. Description was: "A very good 3/4½ litre Le Mans type with a good history... Recent work on this car has involved some large amounts of the old mazuma being spent and all on the important bits... A great driving and good looking vintage Bentley."

The car is marked as 'SOLD' on Stanley Mann Racing website as of Jan 23, 2009.
