	BENTLEY 3 litre 1923 ORIGINAL CADOGAN BODY Magnificent car, born in 1923. In 1953 rebuilt with an all original CADOGAN BODY ex chassis DS3569. This car is featured in the official Bentley literature, Bentley:The vintage years by Michael Hay on page 328. CHASSIS NUMBER: 391; ENGINE NUMBER: 156 ; FIRST UK REGISTRATION NUMBER WT 1480; BODY CADOGAN; COLOUR BRITISH RACING GREEN British Racing Green on the outside, green leather on the inside. Period dials in the wood dashboard. It benefits from its orginal 4 speed gearbox with a overdrive (not original of course) for easy motorway driving. Eligible for the MILLE MIGLIA!

More Info: Michael Hay, in his book Bentley: The Vintage Years, 1997, states: "B Box from new. Fitted La Salle braked front axle with detachable wire wheels, straight-sided with 6.50 x 20" tyres. Rover saloon body, later Cooper tourer with 4½ Litre engine. Dismantled 1/53, since rebuilt as 4 seater - Cadogan body ex ch. DS 3569, eng 859"."
