According to original Vanden Plas Coachbuilder
records, this car was originally fitted
with Body No. 1140 with a 4-seater Sports
(non-standard).
Michael Hay, in his book Bentley:
The Vintage Years, 1997, states:
"Vanden Plas body no. 1140. Much
raced - 4 seat body. Engine was RN 3050
ex NT 3127 now XF 3522 ex XF 3525." |
