The following advertisement text by Stanley Mann was found on the Stanley Mann Racing website on Dec 27, 2011:

"1930 BENTLEY 4½ LTR CLASSIC TOURER BY MAY AND JACOBS
Registration Number: GW 3984 Chassis Number: PB3531 Engine Number: SL3054

THIS BENTLEY IS VERY RARE TO HAVE AN ORIGINAL TOURING BODY BY MAY AND JACOBS FITTED IN PERIOD WITH FULL WEATHER EQUIPMENT.
HAVING PERFECT PROVENANCE AND RECORDED HISTORY FROM THE BENTLEY DRIVERS CLUB LISTING ALL OWNERS FROM NEW.
SOME 50+ YEARS AGO SHE HAD A TOTAL REFIT USING THE LATER UPGRADED HEAVY CHASSIS, AXLES, GEARBOX, STEERING BOX, BULKHEAD AND BONNET IN FACT ALL CHASSIS NO PB 3531 PARTS.
IN THAT REBUILD ONLY THE ENGINE AND DASH SWITCH PLATE WAS RETAINED AS WAS HER ORIGINAL NUMBER PLATE GW 3984 THIS WAS ALL EXPLAINED IN A LETTER FROM HAY IN 1998 WHICH WE HAVE PRINTED WITH HER PHOTOS.
NOW WHILE I ACCEPT THAT SHE HAS KEPT HER ORIGINAL REGISTRATION NO I ASKED MYSELF WHY? WELL AS ALWAYS THE ANSWER IS SIMPLE. THE CAR WHICH IS AFTER ALL BASICALLY CHASSIS NO PB 3531 THE REGISTRATION NO FOR THIS CHASSIS WAS RU1 SO NOT SURPRISINGLY THIS WAS A CHERISHED PLATE WHICH THE FIRST OWNER KEPT FOR HIS NEW STEED.
RECENTLY SHE HAS HAD A COMPLETE ENGINE REBUILD BY BENTLEY SPECIALIST ELMDOWN .THIS WORK INCLUDED NEW CRANKSHAFT AND RODS BY PHOENIX ENGINEERING ALSO NEW PISTONS ETC.
THIS IS A SUPERB ORIGINAL 4½ LTR TOURING VINTAGE BENTLEY EASILY CAPABLE OF SOME HIGH TOURING SPEEDS PERFECT FOR THOSE LONG CLASSIC RALLIES AND GREAT IF MODEM IS COMING TO WITH ALL HER LUGGAGE"

This car is for sale as of December 27, 2011.
