"This 6.5 Litre, which carries an estimate of £350,00-450,000, was extensively restored by renowned marque specialist Tony Townshend for the late Steve O’Rourke – a successful historic racing driver but best known for managing the incomparable rock band Pink Floyd for no less than 35 years. The Bentley’s engine has been uprated and is these days fed by a trio of SU carburettors. This most imposing of vintage motorcars is finished in traditional British Racing Green teamed with Green leather upholstery and is being sold complete with the appropriate registration ‘RR 4634’."

"The original Gurney Nutting Weymann saloon body on this chassis, the "Super Saloon", is shown in an article by Jack Triplett and Tom Clarke in BDC Review 2010, reprinted in Flying Lady, 2010. It is not the "perpendicular saloon" shown in Hay, plate 144, which was instead the James Young body originally fitted to WB2554."
