1924/26 Bentley 3-litre Four-Seat Tourer with VDP style coachwork

On the 1924 short chassis, just 1500 miles are reported to have been covered since completion of this elegant 3-litre four years ago, which features blade wings and new aluminium bodywork in the style of Vanden Plas. The late-sump 1926 engine dates from June of that year and is fitted with bronze SUs and new con-rods. Using a C-type gearbox, an overdrive by Overdrive Services is also fitted, ensuring effortless cruising, a readily accepted modification which greatly enhances today's vintage motoring. The specification also includes a cam-driven Neil Davis alternator, a 13/55 final drive, Lucas bell headlamps and a superb pair of torpedo side lights. Offered by a dedicated Cricklewood Bentley owner of many years standing, this very fine Bentley comes with Swansea V5, MoT and road licence until September 2005.
