  More Info: According to original Vanden Plas Coachbuilder records, this car was originally fitted with Body No. 1383 with a standard 4-seater Sports; Weymann putty colour / brown; 6/1927.

Michael Hay, in his book Bentley: The Vintage Years, 1997, states: "Vanden Plas body no. 1383. Accident 1/31 - rebuilt on new frame (?AX 1675). Vanden Plas then Cooper saloon - Shooting brake - Vanden Plas 4 seater. Engine now SR 1419 ex ch. AH 1476."
