More Info: According to original Vanden Plas Coachbuilder records, this car was originally fitted with Body No. 1716 with a 4-seater Sports; Weymann fabric; black body. Car was delivered in Feb. 1931.

But Vanden Plas also recorded in Dec. 1932 that the same chassis was fitted with Body No. 1892 with a 2-seater for Bentley Motors; black body.

Michael Hay, in his book Bentley: The Vintage Years, 1997, states: "Vanden Plas body no. 1716. In America."
