1936 4.5 litre, Reg No: DMX 417, Engine No: RC 491E, Chassis No: RC 42

"Our car is one of the six 4.5 litres built in 1936 using original parts produced prior to the closure of the Cricklewood factory and recognised as an original Bentley vintage.

It was delivered as a drophead coupe to a certain Mr C.E. Wales. For a long time this car was part of the Majub collection. This car was completely rebuilt in the early 1990's by Mark Huckle and fitted with a Le Mans style body, winning the Blenheim concours in 1994.

We bought the car in 2001 with just 900 miles on the counter. Since then we covered some 24,000 miles visiting Canada, the USA, Jordan, Sicily, New Zealand and many times France." - Owner, Toon Boogers
