This previously
'unidentified' vintage Bentley has
been identified
by Olle Ljungström.
Ljungström says, "Originally
VdP tourer, body 1050. According to
Hay: Bentley the Vintage Years, converted
to 2 seater by unknown coachbuilder
about 1928, probably on shortened
frame. Wings might be retained from
original coachwork. Subject to comparison
with 3½-litre Derby Bentley
in "The Autocar", March
30, 1934." |
