Engine No. 1056 is owned by me and
still in good order. The car has the
original body, but the colour is green.
The whole history from Owner 1 until
now is available. The car is running
very well and visited many countries
in the recent years, even Morocco.
The official registration in Holland
is DM-96-17.

According to original Vanden Plas Coachbuilder
records, this car was originally fitted
with Body No. 1135 with a standard Sporting
4-seater; maroon and black; 5/1925.
Michael Hay, in his book Bentley:
The Vintage Years, 1997, states:
"Vanden Plas body no. 1135. In
Australia 1927-68 then USA, now back
in UK reg GT 8772." |
