switchplate. The scuttle and capping rail have been retained from the Harrison body. Greene mention in his correspondence the drivers’ footwell and his efforts to tilt the gearlever backwards.
   


Left: Detail of the plate clutch pattern pedal shaft bracket, showing the shortened strut gear upright and the original undertray. The bracket is for the side-mounted spare wheels fitted in 1931.

Right: Detail of the Triplex Hartford telecontrol shock absorbers and its operating cable, mounted in tandem with the original double Hartford friction shock absorber. The chassis number stamped inside the front dumb-iron knuckle can also be seen.
