Contributed by Carter Johnson (Owner)

Sep 9, 2017: "TD 4512 emerged from slumber today and gave my son (the 4th generation of this family) a ride with its current steward, his grandfather William C Johnson II. We have a bit of cleaning and polish to do before the British Invasion show next weekend in VT."

From generation to generation -- William C Johnson II with grandson (Sep 2017)

History
TD 4512 has been in our family since 1963 and we pieced together some of its previous history from the prior ownership. It was restored in 1992 by my father and still sporadically attends shows and is driven. I'm pretty sure the car was originally a black saloon and was crashed at some point and then rebodied by Hooper. I'm not sure exactly when the 4.5 was added but my father may know; it predated my grandfather's purchase. (My grandfather also owned a beautiful 1936 4.25 Vanden Plas open tourer which is also still in the extended family.)"
