History of 4½ Litre Bentley HF3193 (Page 2 of 5)
Report by Clare Hay, 2009

Bentley Motors’ Service Record for chassis HF3193.

HF3193 in its original form. Seen here Eric Forrest Greene (standing on right) with "Colorado Polledo".
Photo on right: Nearside view of the engine showing the long bonnet and very little support from the bulkhead to the front of the body.

Greene said in a letter to Bentley Motors that this body "flexed off" the chassis and had to be remade in
Argentina, before it was overhauled by Vanden Plas in 1931.
