These Photographs were taken on Sunday 11th April, 1965, at the 3rd Manchester to Blackpool Veteran and Vintage Car Run, organised by the Lancashire Automobile Club.

The notes in the programme for the Car Run stated:
“No-one can offer any concrete suggestions as to who built the body, but the general opinion is that it is French. As far as can be ascertained, it is in completely original condition, with the exception of the cigar lighter, coil and hood.It is an all aluminium body with fitted toolboxes in the running boards. Interior wood is of unpolished teak.Accordingly, to interested passers-by, it is the most beautiful 8 litre they have ever seen. It is the second from last 8 litre ever to be built by the company”.
