First International Bentley 8 Litre Rally, June 18-25, 2016
Team: Terry & Liz Bramall, UK

Read article by Tamsin O'Brien.

"The UK Reg. No. now is LB 566; body type is a "Panelled Weymann Saloon"; could be called "Sister car" of GK 706. Meticulously reconditioned to original look and specifications!" - Franco Weibel

Chassis No. YR5079 was delivered new to the U.S.A. It returned to England, was restored, and then stored at Hoffman's of Henley during the 1990's for a non-British owner. I saw this lightweight H. J. Mulliner Weymann Saloon at Hoffmann's several times while the car was stored there. Very impressive car in very good lightly restored condition. I think Mulliner made a few of these lightweight saloons — with sliding windows — as the doors are too thin for ordinary wind-up glass.

The above photographs were received from George Klepp, Tim Houlding International, in Feb. 2007, but the photographs were said to have been taken about four years earlier.
